This time of year the mall is a battle ground. Here are some tips to help you prepare for the war.

1. Write a list.

Do it now! Write down everyone you can think of. Also write down the first thing you think of when you think of them. When will you be seeing this person ( when do you need the gift) ? Here is your base. 

2. Time for the research.

Find the best deals available online and in stores. Make a calendar in google calendar with alerts that will help you remember when the sale dates end

3. Go with your gut.

Don't overthink gifts. We tend to overthink gifts and then all our ideas seem silly and not good enough. Make a decision and go for it. Avoid going back to get it later and it being sold out. 

4. Get online and order!

Make sure to check the websites shipping and handling time. Often we don't take into account the time it will take to receive. Make sure to review the store policies and where the item is shipping from. Is it domestic or international? International shipments usually take at least a week to receive.
