Mojito Recipes - Vacay Mode

You caught us. We are guilty of summertime day dreaming in the office. I mean how can we not? We sell beach towels and chase the sun to get awesome pictures. Here are a few of our favorite Mojito recipes to help mentally bring on the summer earlier this year.

1. 

Ingredients

6-8 fresh basil leaves (plus more for garnish)
1 lime (half juiced and half cut into wedges)
English cucumber (1″ thick slice cut in half plus 3 thin slices)
1 TB. honey simple syrup
1 shot white rum (or vodka)
Soda water

 Instruction: 

  1. In a sturdy glass or jar, add basil leaves, lime juice, lime wedges, thick slices of cucumber, honey simple syrup and rum or vodka
  2. With wooden spoon, work to combine flavors (until the basil leaves and cucumber start to break down)
  3. Fill glass half way with ice
  4. Add the thin cucumber slices and top with soda water. Garnish with a basil leaf.

Ingredients

4-6 mint leaves

2 oz Pineapple Vodka

2 oz fresh grapefruit juice

1 tbsp Agave Nectar

½ Lime, juiced

4 ox Champagne of Sparkling Wine 

Instructions

  1. Place mint, vodka, grapefruit juice, agave nectar and lime into a glass ( tall glass for this drink)
  2. Use wooden spoon to muddle in the mint with the rst of the ingredients in the glass, make sure to break up the mint
  3. Fill up the glass with ice and then top off the drink with bubble.
  4. Give it a stir and garnish with mint leaf and lime wedge

Ingredients

Simple Syrup with Stevia

4-6 packets of stevia depending on sweetness level desried

1 cup water

5-8 mint leaves

 

For Mojito

2 oz simple stevia syrup made above

½ lime juice

1 oz rum

5 mint leaves

chilled soda water

Ice

mint and lime slices for garnish

Instructions

Simple sugar with stevia

  1. In a small pot bring 1 cup of water to a boil and add in packets of stevia
  2. Stir in stevia to dissolve and remove from heat
  3. Add mint leaves. Cover and let steep for 30 minutes
  4. Remove mint leaves from liquid and store syrup in fridge until ready to use 

Mint Mojito

  1. 12 oz glass pout 2 ox of simple syrup, 1 oz rum, few mint leaves, and lime juice
  2. Muddle the contents using a wooden spoon
  3. Top the glass with ice and fill with the rest with soda water
  4. Garnish with mint and lime wedge
