I'm not sure what those who wrote bad reviews got or were expecting but this is towel material. It is plenty thick not cheap looking or feeling. I've used and washed and dried it many many times. It comes out perfect. Colors and print are great. It is a beach towel not one of those thin flowey scarf like things.

I took this towel on a lake trip. I didnt want a "tapestry" or rough feel like others that are advertised on here. This felt very much like a soft plush towel that was very comfy to wrap up in after getting out of the water to dry off with. Was extremely happy with this purchase :)
